Colleague TEST Access From Offsite location

This document will show you how to connect to the Colleague test environment while you are at an offsite location. If this is your first time using the Colleague Test environment, email our Help Desk at helpdesk@4cd.edu to request access.

Various colleague reports have the ability to download data/reports please ensure these files are kept secure and deleted once you are done using them

Prerequisites

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (or Mac OS Catalina 10.0 or higher)

  • Have installed GlobalProtect VPN software (Install Virtual Private Network (VPN) software).

  • Google’s Chrome web browser.

  • Note: Colleague works best on Chrome. If you choose to use another web browser such as Firefox, Safari or Edge, you may experience poor performance. Colleague does not work with Internet Explorer.

Instructions

  1. Connect to VPN (instruction)

  2. Open your Chrome web browser.

  3. Go to the following web address for Colleague:

  4. Log in using your username

  5. Password is generally your birth date in the mmddyy format

  6. If you are unsure, or have never logged into the test environment, request assistance by emailing our Help Desk at helpdesk@4cd.edu.
