With the recent rise in compromised accounts (students and employee) as well as a rise in number of phishing emails directed at us, we would like to share the list of resources below.

Cybersecurity training modules

District has contracted with company called KnowBe4 to provide cybersecurity training. Although each employee will be assigned a training module to complete each year, we strongly encourage ech of you to take a look at modules that are available at knowbe4 that can help District secure system but also helps you secure your information in your personal lives.

How strong is your password?

We strongly recommend your passwords to be at least 12 characters (mix of upper and lower characters) along with one or more numbers and special characters. Here’s a link that will tell you how long it will take a computer/hacker to find it and compromise your account. The site also has some good tips on creating passwords you can remember.
